Tournament Chairman’s Report

UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS:

September 26: Member Appreciation Day – This is the Club’s chance to say thank you to all of our members for participating in this year’s tournaments. The format is a 4-Man Scramble with teams to be determined by BLIND DRAW - there will be an A, B, C & D flighted player on each team; the A players will use blue tees, B players use white tees, C players use gold tees, and D players use red tees. SHOTGUN START for everyone at 7 a.m. 144 maximum number of players – so please enter ASAP.

The deadline to enter is earlier than usual – 9/13/2026 so that we can advise Wedgewood of the number of people who will be at the post-round (free!) lunch. We will be giving out tee prizes – balls, towel, divot repair tool - to the players, so be one of them!

October 24 & 25, 2026: Club Championship – If you plan to play in our Gross Flight Club Championship in October, you must have played in at least 3 prior tournaments this year. The winner in the gross division (5.4 index and lower) will be entered in the SCGA Tournament of Club Champions that will take place on Monday, 11/30/26, at Friendly Hills CC in Whittier. The net division winner will also play on 11/30/26 in the Tournament of Club Champions at either Palm Valley CC or Monterey CC in Palm Desert. The Senior division winner – age 55 and older (must have an index of 9.4 or better) - will play in the Senior Tournament of Club Champions at Soboba Springs GC in San Jacinto, also on 11/30/26. (All entry fees to be paid by the player and reimbursed by RHMC.)

November 21, 2026: Individual Ball, Stableford Scoring – This is the last Men’s Club event of

the year (the December tournament is handled 100% by the Pro Shop).
